Logomark and identity design for Real Bicycle Co.
Real Bicycle Company (RBC) is a social enterprise that uses local materials, skills and labour to manufacture some of the world’s best commuter bikes.
Supplying bikes to the Qhuebeka bicycle charity, RBC wanted to create a unique logo mark to be applied to each of their bikes whilst still allowing other brands to brand the bikes. It was clear that RBC needed a “maker’s mark”. The result is a timeless logomark that symbolises craftsmanship and quality.

We designed a unique logomark that could accommodate reproduction in a variety of materials, at any scale.
The logomark has been specifically considered as a “marker’s mark” with the intention that it will become a recognised symbol of quality in the bicycle industry.
